A set meal based on sports nutrition at the Tokyo Athlete Shokudo, a popular restaurant visited by famous athletes.
Popular with Imperial Palace runners and business people in the Otemachi/Kanda area, this restaurant offers a menu based on 'sports nutrition'. It offers set menus with a choice between three main dishes, and a vegan menu is always available. It features satisfying portions. Receipts include inoculated calories and nutrient content so you can see at a glance what nutrients you've been inoculated with! It comes with a nice record of the meals that you have eaten.
Originally, no vegan menu items were offered, but in response to increasing customer demand, one vegan-friendly menu item has been introduced in each of the three categories of main dishes to choose from. For rice for set meals, customers can also choose the original Asu rice, which is a blend of four types of germinated rice including quinoa and oshimugi, and Kagoshima-grown Ikuhikari rice.
Half of the menu changes every three weeks. Please check with the staff as bonito broth is sometimes used in the miso soup.
The staff are all cheerful and knowledgeable about nutrients and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please enjoy a nutritious vegan meal.
Vegetarian in this website means that no meat or seafood is used as an ingredient, while "vegan" means that no meat, seafood, eggs, dairy products, honey or other animal products are used as an ingredient.
