Another Japan is a shop and café in front of Tokyo Station that has a shop selling local specialties from 47 prefectures of Japan and café KITASANDO Kissa run by students.

Another Japan is located 5-minute walk from JR Tokyo Station or Subway Mitsukoshimae Station. This is a shop where carefully selected specialties from all 47 prefectures gather with a cafés Kitasando Kissa adjoining.

For Another Japan, students are involved in management consistently: selecting products, purchasing them, managing balance of payment, customer service, sales, promotion and creating the shop. It's interesting to see featured area are changed every two months and the lineups of products are changed.

Inside the solid wood-focused, clean and tidy shop, there is an array of local handicrafts and specialties. As for miscellaneous goods, you can find accessories, dishes and clothing ornaments in which the traditional techniques are used and you must feel like using them for a long time taking care of them. As for food, there are products that enrich your life such as sweets using local specialty and seasoning and local sake.

The adjoining café Kitasando Kissa has its own concept, "Making tea and coffee.” They show you tea-ceremony and pour over brewing coffee. It's the tea and coffee stand that respects the culture of drinking coffee and tea.

What they have on the menu are their specially made Matcha Latte and lavish Matcha Pudding using plenty of matcha. They also serve food menu such as Circro Lunch Plate, whose main food is swirling croissant. You can fill your stomach at lunchtime here.
