Tokyo International Forum is located 1-minute walk from Yurakucho Station and 5-minute walk from Tokyo Station. It is a facility to offer cultural information that consists of event halls, conference rooms, shops and restaurants.

Tokyo International Forum was constructed at the ruins of the former Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and opened in 1997. The designer was publicly recruited in the International Design Competition accredited by the International Union of Architects (UIA) for the first time in Japan. Among 395 designs from 50 countries, Mr. Rafael Viñoly's design was selected. The stylish architecture design using glass all over the building received JIA and AIA 25 years Award. And the whole building has been designated as a two-star building and the Glass Building has been designated as a three-star building by Michelin Green Guide Japan. Tokyo International Forum has been highly recognized from inside and outside Japan.

Inside the building, there are 8 big and small halls and 31 conference rooms. A wide variety of events are held all year round such as international convention, ceremonies, academic conferences, exhibitions, concerts, musicals, fashion shows and so on.

There are 12 restaurants and 5 shops in the building. As for restaurants, besides cafes, there are various kinds of restaurants such as a hamburger shop, Italian restaurant and Chinese restaurant.
