Tokyo Station Gallery was born in Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building in 1988 with the desire to offer everyone a place for fragrant culture rather than simply being a passing point through the station.
We temporarily closed due to restoration work to Tokyo Station in 2006, but we continued to be active outside the gallery even during this period such as with the Old Shimbashi Depot Railway History Exhibition Room.
We made a new start for the first time in six years in the autumn of 2012 in a form that has further evolved in line with the times in the restored station building.
We will continue to be active in the future while deeply recognizing the significance of carrying out our activities as a gallery in the important cultural property of Tokyo Station that is located at the geographical and historical heart of modern Japan.

Access

From Tokyo Station (M17) on Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (approx. 3 minutes)
(1)Exit the Central Gate toward Marunouchi North Exit and proceed to Exit M12.
(2)Proceed up the stairs of Exit M12 and come aboveground.
(3)Enter the JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Dome in front of you. The museum entrance is on your left.

From Otemachi Station (T09) on Tokyo Metro Tozai Line (approx. 5 minutes)
(1)Exit the East Gate toward Exit B4 and B5, go up the stairs (escalator) and proceed straight.
(2)Proceed straight through the underground passage to the direction of JR Tokyo Station and head toward Exit M12.
(3)Proceed up the stairs of Exit M12 and come aboveground.
(4)Enter the JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Dome in front of you. The museum entrance is on your left.

From Nijubashimae Station (C10) on Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line (approx. 7 minutes)
(1)Exit the ticket gates to the direction of JR Tokyo Station and proceed up the stairs of Exit 7.
(2)Pass through Gyoko-dori Underground Gallery, turn left and head toward Exit M12.
(3)Proceed up the stairs of Exit M12 and come aboveground.
(4)Enter the JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Dome in front of you. The museum entrance is on your left.
Basic Discounts ◆Junior high school students and younger: Free.
◆For groups of 20 or more, admission fees are 800 yen for adults and 600 yen for high school and university students.
◆Persons with a disability certificate or similar receive a 100 yen discount on tickets purchased at the door, and one accompanying helper is admitted free.
