Marunouchi Naka-dori Street is home to a number of commercial facilities, including the Marunouchi Building and Marunouchi Brick Square, which are located near the Tokyo Station, and Nijubashi Square and KUNIGIWA, which are near the Hibiya Station. Their tenants include casual apparel stores, luxury specialty stores, cosmetic stores, and a wide variety of restaurants. They have Japanese and Italian cuisine, cafes, and bars, with great options for both lunch and dinner.

Another feature of Marunouchi Naka-dori Street is its many cultural facilities. Near the Tokyo Station is the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, and, near the Hibiya Station, are the Idemitsu Museum of Arts, Dai-ichi Life Gallery, and the Imperial Theatre. Seeing several museums in one day makes for quite a trip, and you will have plenty of places share your thoughts over a meal after seeing a play.

The Marunouchi Street Gallery is an initiative by Mitsubishi Estate and the Chokoku-no-Mori Art Foundation to create a town rich in artistic expression. The works of modern sculptors and contemporary artists are displayed the Street. Be sure to visit the sculptures while shopping on your day off.

"Marunouchi Naka-dori Street is open to pedestrians, as an Urban Terrace, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on weekdays and from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends and holidays. One of the most notable features is the kitchen car that changes daily during the lunch hour. When the terrace is open to pedestrians, tables are set up on the street so people enjoy their lunches in the sun. Marunouchi is also one of the most popular illumination spots in Tokyo. During the winter, more than one million LEDs illuminate Marunouchi Naka-dori Street."
