Spanning the inner moat, this bridge connects the east side of the Kokyo-gaien National Garden with the Marunouchi In 1620 a masugata was constructed. Now, remnants of the stone wall and the bridge remain. The modern structure is a concrete bridge with traces of the original wooden one.

About 200m south from the bridge, Gokyo-dori Avenue crosses the inner moat. This road connects the front of Tokyo Station with the Kokyo-gaien National Garden. The restoration of the inner moat was also said to be unusually difficult.
