Hopbeat Records has opened on the ground floor of Shin-Marunouchi Bldg directly connected to Tokyo Station. This is a beer stand directly managed by West Coast Brewing (WCB) in Shizuoka. You can enjoy their lineups of beer. They always carry six kinds of draft beer and ten or more kinds of their original canned beer.

You feel as if you were in a record shop when you go into this beer stand. This place was carefully designed by the representative of WCB as well as an architect. You can see an array of as many as 2000 analog records and staff members choose songs according to the mood of the day. The charm is that you can taste beer in a warm atmosphere.

They serve the WCB original beer that was brewed with the passion that "they wanted to authentic American craft beer in Japan, too." Hops that become the material of their beer are carefully selected centering from America, New Zealand and Australia. When they prepare, they use very pure well water drawn from 60 meters below ground in Mochimune, Shizuoka. They are particular about materials and brewing process.

They are always ready to serve six kinds of draft beer. Every week, WCB releases new beer and occasionally freshly barreled and canned beer comes from Shizuoka. They change brand to deal with according to the inventory status, so one of their charms is that each time you visit, you can enjoy fresh, new taste. If you "don't know what to order", or "want to try different kinds", their Comparison set is recommended. You can choose three kinds of beer. When you see their flagship beer, "Starwatcher" on the menu, just order it because the beer can be WCB's starting point.

Inside the shop, you can buy not only draft beer but also canned beer with ten or more kinds. You can take out canned beer, so it is recommended to enjoy the beer on your way in the Shinkansen, bullet train, or just drop by to treat yourself on your way home from work. The canned beer has pop, unique design, so they can be a great souvenir.
