Paper Tree is located one-minute walk from Kudanshita Station. It is a specialty shop of paper items and calligraphy. They carry a wide variety of items from custom-made stationery perfect for a formal situation to calligraphy items to write beautiful letters and wax seal stamps to close envelopes.
Paper Tree opened in 2012. Inside the shop, there is an array of items from long-established European and U.S. brands and created by up-and-coming designers. Among them, you can find greeting cards suitable for daily use. You can pick up and see items selected from all over the world including Birthday cards, Thank-you cards and even card sets you can use for formal situations.
Another distinctive feature of Paper Tree is that they carry many kinds of ink and fountain pens of Ferris Wheel Press, a Canadian stationery brand that has an image of view of the beautiful world. The packages of ink and bottles with romantic designs make you enchanted just to look at. Trial sessions for all ink colors will be held on a regular basis, so if you are indecisive, please join the event.

They have an array of items you could find only here such as wax seal stamps sets, tag sets you can use as message cards and in addition, stationery boxes collaborating with Stackers, a jewelry box brand in England. Their functional and beautiful original items for "writers" are recommended as gifts.
Paper Tree not only sells stationery items but also holds calligraphy, Japanese calligraphy, botanical illustration and Mizuhiki (decorative Japanese cord made of twisted paper) lessons on a regular basis.
