YoshokukzenUmiCurry TAKEUCHI is located three-minute walk from Subway Jimbocho Station. This is a popular restaurant in Jimbocho, which serves spice curry with vivid-colored serving. They want customers to enjoy not only the taste but also the look of the curry. They said they kept on adding materials after they opened the restaurant and they finally made the present style. The owner chef Mr. Takeuchi said, "We are still evolving."

There are two rows of counters inside the restaurant and there are eight seats. On the wall, you can see the owner's collection of railroad goods here and there. He is a rail enthusiast.

The most recommended dish is "Stewed Hamburg Steak Set". The main dish of the set is roughly ground hamburg steak with colorful vegetables. For the specialty curry, they boiled their original fond de veau broth using beef tendon and potherbs for two days with vegetables like well-fried onions and tomatoes and selected spices. You can taste the meaty hamburg steak with roughly ground meat and curry with fresh richness and bitter profoundness at the same time.

One of their signature dishes is "Kimagure Plate three kinds of Curry." It's a luxurious plate menu with three kinds of curry particular about materials and spices with miso soup and a side dish. The day's curries were "Super masterpiece anhydrous Iwate beef curry", "Roughly ground pork keema curry black sesame flavor with duck broth soy sauce" and "Marinated herbs on top of raw shrimp and scallps rasam style." For some, they use very rare materials. They change curry on the menu almost by a week according to their mood. Their dishes also delight the eyes. This is YoshokukzenUmiCurry TAKEUCHI's own style.

Another popular menu of this restaurant is "TAKEUCHI Umi no Nijyuso." On one plate, you can enjoy Sea Curry with seafood like shrimps, scallops, squid and much fresh cream and butter and keema style curry with minced shrimps, scallops and squid with onion and beans. If you use their original handmade spice "Harissa" made based on chili pepper, you can enjoy changing taste of curry.
