Patisserie Edmont is located on the first floor of the East Wing of Hotel Metropolitan Edmonton. The name "Edmont" is said to come from the fact that Iidabashi, where the hotel stands, used to be the hometown of Edo Castle. Inside the luxurious and classy shop, you can see carefully baked sweets, baked sweets and a wide variety of bread.

Seasonal fruit sandwiches are popular all year round at Patisserie Edmont. They are filling because big pieces of fruits and a lot of fresh cream with refined sweetness are sandwiched. The Danish is served at the restaurant in the hotel and many guests but Danish for souvenir because they liked it very much. In March, they sell "Matcha Mountain" only in spring. They use matcha called "Ogurayama" from Kyoto Uji Yamamasa Koyamaen with long history. You can enjoy the moist texture of the dough and rich matcha taste.

We also recommend luxurious curry bread made at the hotel "Chicken Keema Curry Bread." The distinctive feature is that they have kept their secret curry roux improving their recipe. It is the masterpiece that requires a lot of time. They mix some spices with fried ground meat and add mango chutney, fried onion and chocolate as secret ingredients. Moderate bitter and hot taste and sweetness of the original dough make a perfect combination. You can also enjoy the crunchy batter and may get addicted to this famous bread.
