Books Tokyodo is a long-established bookseller founded in 1890,one of the biggest book store in Jimbocho, with three floors from the first to the third.

• Among bookstores, Books Tokyodo has a unique sense of style in its product lineup. On the first floor, under the concept of "Foreseeing the future of mankind", new publications, magazines, new novels, and paperback books are on display. Of particular note is the shelves named Fountain of Knowledge located on the center floor of the first floor. On these shelves, the staff in charge selects and displays books in a variety of categories, from best-selling books to core specialty books. While checking out a new book, you may find yourself picking up a book in a genre you have never read before as the title intrigues you. How fascinating!

On the second floor, under the concept of "Grasping the activities of mankind", business books and practical guidebooks, dictionaries, and art-related publications are on display.
