This park is located between Uchibori-dori Ave. and Hanzo-bori Moat located on the west side of The Imperial Palace. About 170 cherry trees such as the Somei Yoshino and the Yamazakura Moutain Cherry are planted in the park, so it is well known as a cherry blossom viewing spot.

The Chidori-ga-fuchi area has been known for years as a cherry blossom viewing spot, and Chidori-ga-fuchi Park is filled with many cherry blossom-viewing visitors every year. The best time to view the Somei Yoshino and the Yamazakura Mountain Cherry trees is from late March to early April, when the park's 170 cherry trees are in full bloom. From February to May, Rapeseed plants also bloom in yellow, creating a vivid contrast with the cherry blossoms.
Visiting Chidori-ga-fuchi Park outside of spring is also lovely. You are surrounded by fresh greenery in summer, and in the fall you can enjoy the changing colors of the leaves. It is a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll on your days off. You may also enjoy going for a run in the natural environment of the park.
