CHIKYU Kojimachi DELI is located around a 5-minute walk from Kojimachi Station on the Tokyo Metro in the Ichigaya direction. This shop, memorable for its indigo blue exterior and cozy feel to it, is a take out shop in a deli style that consists of its kitchen car (CHIKYU FARM CAR) and a space for selling vegetables.

CHIKYU Kojimachi DELI offers lunchboxes packed full of fresh vegetables that you can only find at a fruit and vegetable store.

  • CHIKYU FARM TO TABLE is a popular vegetable bistro on the Kugenuma Coast that appointed Edward Hames, a man who has learned extensively about food around the world, as their food director. The bistro offers dishes using organic vegetables from the Shonan region in abundance. Its sister store, CHIKYU Kojimachi DELI, was opened with the idea of having customers enjoy "eating delicious, healthy food in the business district in an easier to access manner". There are carefully selected fruit and vegetables that can be eaten with peace of mind and lunchboxes on sale, too.
  • The Chinese yams and carrots harvested from Terasawa Farm in Aomori Prefecture come highly recommended. They have been grown for over 30 years with the use of agricultural chemicals or chemical fertilizer. The Chinese yams and carrots grown using homemade fertilizer and Bokashi compost have a rich flavor and are characterized by their skin also being edible.

"Iyo agri rice" (1,598 yen/2kg) produced in Ehime Prefecture has a soft and chewy texture and explodes with umami the more that you chew it. It also comes highly recommended from the chef. "Golden eggs" (375 yen) produced at Komatsu Poultry Farm in Nagano Prefecture are fresh eggs from entirely domestically produced chickens that have been raised on non-GM foods.

  • The kitchen car also offers a take out menu. The "vegetable lunchbox of the week" (1,000 yen) uses "Iyo agri rice" and "golden eggs" and is packed full of carefully picked vegetables unique to a fruit and vegetable store.
  • In addition to the lunchbox menu, you will find the "fruit and vegetable store soup lunchbox" (1,000 yen, pictured left) and the healthy "fruit and vegetable store's full-on salad lunchbox" (1,000 yen, pictured right). On top of the main dishes, all side dishes and dressings are made by hand.

CHIKYU Kojimachi DELI, where you'll find lunchboxes and vegetables that are good for your health. To be remembered as something of a shelter for the body in recent times when you might not be getting enough vegetables in your diet.
