You can meet over 10,000 picture books at Book House Café. Lilliput is located behind a building just off the side street from the main entrance of Book House Cafe along Yasukuni-dori Ave. A small signboard that reads "Lilliput" is the landmark, lit up under the building signboard of "KITAZAWA BOOKSTORE." Its hideaway presence is one of their charms.

There are five counter seats inside and a calm classic atmosphere is spreading out. On the bottle shelf behind the counter, you can see various kinds of liquor bottles and picture books line up. At the counter, the manager of "Book House Café" himself stands and reads picture books on request.

Alcoholic drinks such as beer, whisky, brandy, wine and sour are on the menu. In addition, you can also have soft drinks like coffee, tea and juice. They serve snacks like "Curry bread" and "Ham toast". Also, they have filling food like "Grilled hashed beef", which is grilled with cheese on and "Specialty curry with beef and cheese", in which they use curry from a popular curry shop in Jimbocho. You can use this place as a nighttime cafe as they also serve desserts such as "Apple pie" and "Cheese cake."
