Chidori-ga-fuchi will be lit up this spring during Sakura Festival in Chiyoda 2025!
For the safety of visitors, Chiyoda City and Chiyoda City Tourism Association will enforce traffic regulations during the lighting period as follows under the guidance of the police.
In addition to the vehicle traffic restrictions, one-way traffic for pedestrians (Saturday and Sunday only) along the Chidori-ga-fuchi Greenway will be implemented. 
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The lighting period will be announced around March10 according to the cherry blossom blooming.
■Vehicle traffic regulation
Traffic regulation hours : Cherry blossom lighting period / 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
Traffic regulation section: Chiyoda City Road along Chidori-ga-fuchi Greenway and Nabewari-zaka Slope. (see map below)
Subject of regulation:  No vehicles other than authorized vehicles are allowed to enter. (including bicycles and electric scooters)
■One-way traffic regulation for pedestrians　
Traffic regulation hours : Saturdays and Sundays during Cherry blossom lighting period / 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
Traffic regulation section : Chidori-ga-fuchi Greenway (see map below)
One-way traffic from Kudanshita side to Hanzo-mon Gate side (entrance of Chidori-ga-fuchi National Cemetery from Yasukuni-dori Ave. )
Please note that you cannot enter from Hanzo-mon Gate side.
