Illuminated Cherry Blossoms

During the Chiyoda City Sakura Festival, all 700 meters of the renowned sakura-lined Chidori-ga-fuchi Green Way will be illuminated by LED lights each night. This event uses energy-efficient solar-powered LED lighting to ensure no added stress is placed on Chidori-ga-fuchi's sakura or the surrounding environment.
First time in the history of the festival, electricity used for the festival’s lighting becomes carbon-free with the e. CYCLE CHIYODA. Chiyoda city is actively pursuing sustainable society through such activity.
＊Chiyoda city is committed to carbon neutrality by 2050. For achieving the target, we have established a renewable energy supply system called “e. CYCLE CHIYODA”.

Illuminated Cherry Blossom Viewing	From sundown (around 6pm) to 10pm, Friday, March 22 to Tuesday, April 2. *The lighting period will be announced around March10 according to the cherry blossom blooming. *Subject to change or cancellation according to blooming conditions.
