The traditional Japanese Lantern Floating Festival will be held at Chidori-ga-fuchi Moat in the Imperial Palace,a beloved cherry blossom viewing spot, 2000 lanterns, filled with people's gratitude, hope, and wishes for peace, twinkle on the surface of the water.
The solemn and fantastic scenery is as beautiful as a scene from a story.

The lanterns will be released into Chidori-ga-fuchi Moat to express
your feelings for your family, friends, and loved ones.
There are two ways to participate in the Lantern Floating Festival.
Visitors can board boats on the day of the event and float lanterns from the water surrounded by fantastic light.

Lanterns must be purchased in advance on the web.

There will be no sales on the day.
We will keep the lanterns and float them on your behalf.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the conservation of the Chidori-ga-fuchi Moat, one of the most important tourist resources in Chiyoda City.
No refunds will be given in case of cancellation.
Lanterns will not be returned.

On the day of the event, please present your QR code at the pick up point to pick up your lantern and fill them out directly at the venue.
