• The Sanbancho Kyoyo Kaigisho is a national conference hall built at the site of the residence of Duke “AritomoYamagata,” who was a politician in the Meiji (1868-1912) and Taisho periods (1912-26). The original building burned down in World War II, but the site of the garden created by Duke Aritomo Yamagata and a monument in commemoration of the visit of Emperor Meiji remain and remind us of the past.

• The exhibition will include the annex of the conference center designed by “Hiroshi Oe,” one of post-war Japan’s representative architects. His architectural designs are famous for their highlevel fusion of modernism and traditional Japanese styles.
  This year, from November 30 (Sat), we'll hold a session of Japanese Tea Ceremony.
  All the visits are free, including the tour guide and the Session.

【Tour guide】
Time: About 20 to 30 minutes
4 times per day (10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m.)
There is a limit to the number of people who can participate for each guide.
Depending on the number of people, you may not be able to join.

【Session of Japanese Tea Ceremony】
Matcha: November 30 (Sat), December 1 (Sun), 7 (Sat)
Sencha: December 8 (Sun)
It starts from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on each day. However, there is a limit to the amount we can offer, so it may close early.
