Sannomaru Shozokan (The Museum of the Imperial Collections) currently owns about 9,800 items of art, including paintings, calligraphy artifacts passed from generation to generation in the imperial family, and recently added pieces including the bequeathed collections of the late Princess Chichibu, the late Empress Kojun’s belongings, and the bequeathed collections of the late Princess Takamatsu, and donated by the Prince Mikasa Family.
